Special Report

Lunar New Year
Lunar New Year, also known as the Spring Festival or Chinese New Year, has a rich history spanning over 3,000 years. Rooted in ancient Chinese agrarian society, it marks the end of winter and the beginning of spring. Legend has it that the holiday originated with the fight against a mythical beast, Nian, and has evolved into a celebration of family, renewal, and good fortune. Lunar New Year is observed not only in China but also in various Asian countries and among diaspora communities around the world.

In Chinese astrology, the Year of the Dragon is considered a highly powerful period. The dragon is the only mythical animal among the twelve zodiac signs, and it holds a special significance in Chinese culture. The dragon symbolizes strength, power, and good luck. People born in the Year of the Dragon are believed to inherit these qualities, making them natural leaders and ambitious individuals.
The dragon is often associated with wealth and prosperity. It is believed that the Year of the Dragon brings financial success and good fortune to those born during this time. Dragons are known for their charisma and confidence. Individuals born in the Year of the Dragon are thought to be dynamic, enthusiastic, and full of energy, making them captivating personalities.
